The Next Revolution is a brief introduction to Communalist theory and politics by Murray Bookchin, the most vital thinker-activist of its kind. It assembles nine essays, written during the last decade of Bookchin’s life, which offer, among many things, lucid and penetrating criticisms of Marxism, anarchism, capitalism, hierarchy and domination, in order to navigate a rational and dialectical path through their limitations for the practice of an ecological politics of libertarian municipalism worthy of the original ambitions of the Enlightenment.
